State and County officers regularly sit in the median just south of the Andrew Street intersection. You will see them any time, day or night. The tickets primarily go to those who are going in excess of 8-10 miles per hour over the limit or to semis going anything over the limit. There are a few truckers that never slow down through there.

There are police sitting in the median or hiding behind a sign in the rest stop nearly every day, mostly early in the morning trying to catch the kids who drive to school that are speeding, and then again in the afternoon, trying to catcht the kids leaving school to go home. They also frequently pull over truck drivers who use this route.
