Melrose Park, Illinois Speed Traps

“5…Ohhh” sits on the south side next to and approx 10 yards east of within the possible visual site of them and then lights them up when u roll past them at less than 2 MPH over headed North bound. Against the law because they must b visual for all prior to their contact for a violation. Anyone getting a ticket from this may contact me as a witness as I c it from a “Birdseye” view on a daily basis. Today was the draw though, when I watched a “perp” vandalized private property and then just walk right past the “occifer” in the parking lot and nothing was done. Oh yea, Juvi, no bond required = no money…… ticket = $$$$$$. Please post if you know our ordeal or have been subject to their shenanigans.

Melrose Park’s Finest park on the street in between other cars so it’s hard to see when they are there. They prey on the people that work for Jewel and the other factories back there. Also, I would suggest stopping completely at the stop signs.

Just south of the racetrack (Maywood Park) the speed limit drops suddenly and is poorly posted. They (Melrose Park Police) wait in the forest preserve and will usually tag the last car in a group
