Knoch Knolls Road near Modaf Road

Naperville, IllinoisMay 26, 20070 Comments

Knoch Knolls Road between Washington and 95th Street goes along Knoch Knolls Park, located on the south side of the road. The speed limit goes from 35 mph to 25 mph when you are next to the park. The local police park on the park entrance road, in the parking lot, well back from Knoch Knolls Road. They have a clear view of you as you come down the road but if you are’t aware of them, you will get caught. I have seen them there in the A.M. during rush hour and also in the P.M. rush hour.

If heading south on Eola from N. Aurora Rd, just across the bridge over the railroad tracks on the right. They’re in plain view as soon as you come over the top of the bridge. If heading North on Eola from Liberty, just before the bridge over the tracks on the leFort Just one patrol car that I’ve seen at a time. Speed limit is 45 and posted.

Washington Street near Benton Street

Naperville, IllinoisNov 28, 20060 Comments

One or two Naperville cops will sit in the lot of the old gas station on Washington St between Benton and Franklin (just north of the post office). It is particularly difficult to see them when going southbound toward downtown. Speed limit is 25 on this four-lane street, and traffic is routinely going 10-15 over. Enforcement is usually at night after 10pm – generally targeting people going to/coming from downtown.
