Officer will park in the IDOT employee parking lot across from, and just south of, New Trier West High School. From that vantage point, cars going either north or south on Happ can be clocked. When school lets out, they enforce the 20 MPH limit; later in the rush hour, they remain and enforce the 30 MPH limit. Occasionally, officer will step out of squad car and use radar gun from behind a bush.

Sunset Ridge Road near Sunset Ridge Golf Club North End Service Entrance
Police office will sit behind a hedge row at the very edge of the service/maintenance entrance of Sunset Ridge Golf Club. This is 1/2 block north of the main, gated entrance to this country club. The hedgerow is so thick (even in winter) that there is no way to see the police vehicle until you are right on top of him, which is too late. They are very careful to use instant-on, so as to not give any alert to radar detectors farther down the road. Have a vantage point to catch both northbound and southbound speeders.
Willow Road near Ridge Avenue
Likes to sit on access road or in gas station. Targets drivers coming west bound on Willow.
