Brittany Drive near Bordeaux Drive

Oakwood Hills, IllinoisApr 19, 20040 Comments

Residential area, speed limit is 25mph. When you turn on to Brittany Road going north from Rawson Bridge Road you go up a hill. At either the intersection of Bordeaux or Bernay there is a stop sign on the right. Since you are going up hill it catches you by surprise, and late at night it is easy to go right thru the stop sign if you don’t know it’s there. Be careful officer friendly will ticket you. You don’t expect a stop sign at that location. The locals are aware of it, but for the occasional driver in the area it will get you a ticket if the police are around!
