Pittsfield, Illinois Speed Traps

State Troopers like to sit on each side of the road in this area- usually between 7:30-8am when people are in a hurry to get to work or around lunch time. There is usually more than one trooper in this area. They sit in the parking lot of the conservation office and in the weigh station lanes when the station is closed.

State Troopers sit on the I72 overpass and on the Pittsfield/Griggsville Exit ramp when coming off the interstate.
