County Trunk Pulaski near 135th Street

Robbins, IllinoisSep 12, 20060 Comments

Robbins in not fun to drive through-period. Not only do you have to stay alert for the occasional stray bullet that might hit you in the head, the police dont give any slack whatsoever for traffic offenders. It’s a main source of revenue and if you look like you have the means to pay a ticket, they will stop you for whatever they can legally think of. Best not to drive through there at all unless you’re a thrill seeker looking for action.

135th Street between Kedzie and Pulaski

Robbins, IllinoisMar 01, 20020 Comments

Speed limits are different on the eastbound and westbound sides of the same street. Road is 4 lanes. Speed limit of 35 mph is marked with three signs on the eastbound side. One sign, with rust obscured 30 mph marking, is on the westbound side of street, in the weeds, just off Kedzie. Most police stops are on the westbound side near Pulaski, almost a mile away from the rusted speed limit sign.
