As you come into downtown Rockton and the area surrounding Hononegah High School, Speed limit drops mildly from 40 to 30. Cops sit to left down the slope to the boat docks, and in the school parking lot. They nail you if you do not reduce the 10 mph quick enough. Anything over 30 will get you caught.

As you are heading north into Rockton on IL Hwy 2, you will go around a large curve about a mile before you get to Rockton. There are *often* Rockton cops sitting underneath or just past the bridge monitoring northbound traffic. I drive this route every weekday and see someone pulled over maybe once a week.
