Hart Road, between Fairfield & 134

Round Lake, IllinoisJan 13, 20110 Comments

The speed limit on Hart is 25 MPH and the cops will sit either in the parking lot across the street from the community center, in the community center parking lot, in the parking lot for the library or in the driveway of the AT&T building. I see them in one of those locations at least once a week and I know a few that have been nailed by them.

The cops sit at the entrance to Campbell Airport or in the parking lot of Goddard School. Every night I see the lights from the police cars pulling people over for speeding. They are there every weekend too.

Lake County sits in the New Volo Village Hall parking lot just west of Fish Lake Road. Watch out if you’re north bound on Fish Lake Road! The speed limit drops instantly from 45 mph to 30 mph with NO warning!! It drops right at the entrance to two new subdivisions. The county shoots radar from the parking lot for northbound traffic. If you are north bound on Fish Lake Road they are hidden from view by some trees on the west side of the road till you clear them, then its too late. The map says Round Lake but it is really Volo.

They sit in the napa parking lot. It is in between rollins and clarendon road. The squad car may be hard to see if other vehicles are in the parking lot.

Rollins Road near Citgo Gas Station on Rollins

Bank on the corner of Rollins and Lake Shore Drive in round lake. Speed limits 25, cop sits on the left behind the trees or the bank sign. Can’t spot him because of the trees so you’re usually gonna get nailed.
