The street is 4 lane with a speed limit of 25. Favorite spots to "hide in plain sight" include between cars in the Loew’s parking lots and the small strip mall next to the Loew’s.
Bode Road, between Bartlett and Barrington
Marked cruisers will sit in the parking lots along the south side of Bode with instant-on radar… With the hills, you won’t see them until it’s too late.
Schaumburg Rd and East Ave (White Hen lot)
Police sit in White Hen parking lot looking for people who ‘cut through’ from Old Church Rd to East Ave. Signs are posted..
North of Streamwood, Rt.59 Between Golf and the NorthWest Tollway (90/94)
The state troopers, and county sherrif patrol this strech heavily. There is a residential street on east side and a forest preserve entrance on the west side. 45 mph. limit but can get away with 50 mph during rush hour (traffic) If alone you’re busted! They are well concealed buy trees.
West Streamwood Blvd.
If going traveling on Streamwood Blvd, west of Bartlett Road, there is the Lowe’s Theater on the north side of Streamwood Blvd. A local police office hangs out in the theater parking lot waiting for motorist. The road is 4 lanes wide, business area, and the speed limit is 25 MPH. He’ll nail you for going 35, and give you a $25 parking violation instead to make you feel he was nice that day. Total revenue maker.
