Tower Lakes, Illinois Speed Traps

The police tend to sit in the side streets off the entire stretch of this road. They also have a pull off on north side. They will ticket you for going 1 mile over 45mph limit.

Tower Lakes is a glorified subdivision that is somehow incorporated. They have 2 full time officers on duty at all times that do nothing but monitor this main area for speeders.

Tower Lakes police as well as Fox River Valley Gardens and Lake Barrington police use the entire stretch of Roberts Road as their speed trap. They hide just past the lake in a high foliage area. Also sit in the gas station right before Rawson Bridge Road and the Church on the corner of Roberts and Rawson Bridge Road. Hard nosed cops as well … very rude and obnoxious! Do the limit … it’s not worth the 75 dollars they hit you up for!

they have 3 reg. police officers and supposedly 20 p/t officers alway s on look out for speeders and allow little leaway

Road to Broken Oar, popular M’cycle bar. Police pull over bikes for any or NO reason at all. Check for license, insurance,etc. Often Uturn and tail gate cycles trying to intimidate cycles.
