Drivers travelling North on Lakeview just North of the Rt 45 intersection should be careful…once you pass the houses, there’s a gate on the left that’s somewhat hard to see…cops like to hide as close to them as possible.

Watch out in the area north of the intersection of Half Day Road (Route 22) near the Metra tracks in Vernon Hills, Illinois. VH Police have set up speed traps to take advantage of motorists inconvenienced by the rail grade cossing at the Metra tracks.

If you’re travelling North on Lakeview Parkway towards Gregg’s Parkway, you may tend to see a cop either hiding on the right side adjacent to the train tracks, or hidding down the small side street on the leFort If you’re travelling south (coming from Gregg’s) they will be easily visibile before you pass them.
