Westchester, Illinois Speed Traps
Westchester police sits in the Strip mall in a unmarked blue crown vic trying to catch you speeding going south bound crossing over Mannheim Rd.
Going west bound on Cermak Rd. coming down off the bridge from Broadview heading towards Mannheim, could be sitting on any of those north south streets.
On Mannheim Road, North of Roosevelt, just north of the train tracks. There is usually a car sitting in the empty parking lot on the West side of the street (across from the carwash). They are usually there when I go by (close to midnight).
The cops sit on the side streets leading up to* the Roosevelt and Mannheim intersection. They start at about 4 or 5 blocks south of the light and may be sitting down any of those streets all the way up to the Walgreens on the intersection.
The cops sit on the south side of railroad bridge in the parking lot of the large office buildings there (on the east side of the street). Since it is illegal to go into the median area to get up to the left turn lane they pull you over for that, and the normal speeding stuff too.
F.Y.I. they’re there past midnight. they just start around P.M. rush hour…usually
