Wheeling, Illinois Speed Traps

Sitting on the right side (going north) there is a park, and in that park I see a cop sitting in the parking lot aiming towards wolf road.

Police car sits in the partking lot of Poko Loco and it is very dark in the lot so you cant see him till your next to him. Usually there from pm rush hour to late night. i always have to slow down when i come to it.

While driving South on Wolf, just passed Hintz, there is an airport on the leFort In the past couple weeks I’ve noticed more black and whites sitting in a small driveway on the left-hand side. Don’t think they won’t cross over though!

This technically is a residential area and the speed limit is 25, but its a good shortcut and many people use it, and it’s easy to speed. Gotta watch out because squad car sits and clocks you as you go east or west between Milwaukee and Northgate. They dont give much slack. They like pinching the college students as they leave the nearby school.

For about a 1/2-mile stretch on Lake Cook Road headed Westbound, the speed limit is set at 45, but since there are no cross-streets, traffic sometimes gets moving up to 65mph. Once you cross over Milwaukee Ave and start descending from that bridge, there is an office building on the right-hand side. The entrance has a tree divider behind which a cop will usually sit. You can’t see him until you pass him. So just stick to 45-50mph from the bridge on…
