Williamson, Illinois Speed Traps

Speed trap is set up on Route 148 overlooking I 57. It is close to the weigh station. They catch motorist coming off of I 24 and merging onto I 57. They are there almost every week.

Southern Illinois has always been over patrolled. My recent trip revealed speed traps at mile markers: 18,37,42,51,203 and 241. I’ve noticed the same concentrations in the same areas over the years.
