Going East on Archer into Willow Springs the speed drops to 40 mph, as you enter town, past the new funeral home, police sit in the parking lot of the remodeled tavern on Southside of road across from Willow Brook Ballroom. This is relatively new.
US Highway Archer Ave–through the whole town near Cemetary to LaGrange Rd
The entire town of Willow Springs is a speed trap and anybody who’s lived around here for any period of time should know this. This town is the reason cruise control was invented. I have not personally been pulled over in town but you will ALWAYS see police running radar anywhere along Archer.

A police car frequently sets under bridge on East side of Willow Springs Rd. north of Archer Avenue.
US Highway 45 near Mile Marker 7500 South
Limited access road encourages velocity. In median usually on southbound after I-55 exit.
Archer Avenue near State Route 45
Heading into Willow Springs westbound on Archer Avenue crossing LaGrange Road, Route 45, slow down to 35. The WSP police hide out on the north side of Archer and will pull you over if you exceed 40 mph.
