Small town on a busy busy street that leads from downtown chicago to south west suburbs. When I-55 Is too crowded, people take archer avenue (171)
Its 25 and 30 all through here (before and after it, it is 55.
Mnany people have gotten pulled over for 2 and 3 over the speed limit.

WSP will sit in close proximity to the Gas City gas station, normally in pairs, facing opposite directions. The area is also monitored by the Illinois State Police. Radar (Ka-Band) is used heavily, but they currently use Lidar past sundown. This is a very dangerous trap, so adhere to the 40mph Speed limit, and to the 35mph limit around the bend crossing German Church Road.
LaGrange Rd Southbound from I55 approaching Archer Ave
Cops wait at the turnaround (7600) clocking all southbound traffic. The spot is good for cops for 2 reasons: 1) LaGrange Rd/Rt 45 looks like a highway, but its not. Posted speed limit is 45 mph. 2) The road is a sligh downhill, so cops clock you as you come over the hill. They see you long before you see them!
