South side of Kennedy, 1/4mi East of Bristol Ridge. Sits in wooded area where there used to be a farmhouse. Limit there is 55mph but drops to 45 just West of there
Minkler Road near State Route 71
Minkler is a lined asphalt road with sparse housing. It used to be 55 mph, but is now apparently 45 mph. It IS well-posted, so be careful. The officer sits just south of 71 at the power station.
State Route 47
Local Police hide in the old rest area in the southwest corner, at intersection of State Hwy 47 and Galena Road.
Van buren Road near Mile Marker 9.56
entering and leaving yorkville, both east and west bound, at city limits and when leaving city i live on this road. usually 5 to 6 days per week
E. Van Emmon Road near Van Emmon Memorial Park
A Police Car sits by the Van Emmon Memorial Park "Baseball field" hiding behind trees waiting for people to speed by, then nabs them….Especially on the Weekends. ..Technically drivers coming from the other direction(east) is out of their jurisdiction because they are not in the city limits of "Yorkville PROPER"… so any ticket given to a driver coming from the East should be dropped UNLESS a "Sheriff" Tickets them, not the Yorkville Police.
