Anderson, Indiana Speed Traps
At the tracks, between Main St. and Columbus Ave.
State Police sits in this area many times, or just across the street on a short side street, where they cant be seen. 35 mph zone, and they will stop you if you are just over that speed limit.
Hartman Road/300 North
300 North (Hartman Road) between Madison Avenue and 200 West (Florida Station Road)is patroled at all times of the day, and since the speed limit is set so low (30 mph), county cops have people pulled over ALL THE TIME. I firmly believe this was done purposely to make the county some extra money, so be careful when driving through this area.
109 bypass Road near Scatterfield Road
Scatterfield Road, 109 bypass going south to State Road 36 is highly watched by police. They are sitting along the roadside at any time of the day. Early morning is the most active time since drivers cannot see the identity of a car when it is still dark. The speed limit is 55mph, but everyday people are pulled over.
