Brownsburg, Indiana Speed Traps

Speed limits are very low for the type of road.

Firestation sits at the intersection to the west and County Sheriff’s will sit west on 1000 N hidden behind the firestations sign. They are looking for speeders and those who don’t fully come to a stop at the intersection and turn right.

Just west of this intersection County Sheriff’s sit on a bridge that hides them with the obstructions of trees and pines. They will get you in both directions.

The speed limit changes driving North from CR 200 from 50mph to 45mph to 30 mph as you enter Brownsurg city limits……definetely a speed trap. Also, on the East side of the road there is a small private High School just North of CR 300 and Brownsburg police this area and tag High School kids all through school hours and anyone else that is even one mile over the posted limit, a gold mine for Brownsburg and many places for police to hide undetected,unfortunately got taged here before I realized it was a speed trap,only six mph over the posted 30mph.
