Castleton, Indiana Speed Traps

Westbound 82nd Street in Castleton at the intersection with Allisonville Road. If you wish to turn right on Allisonville Road to go to the Interstate, there is a small sign stating, "No right turn on red between 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday." Between these hours on these days, there is a police officer stationed on foot around that corner simply herding people who did not see this sign into the parking lot of the restaurant there on the corner and issuing $150 tickets one after the other non-stop. They have found themselves a veritable gold mine there.
