Clarksville, Indiana Speed Traps
Speed limit of 55 and typically State Police at Lewis & Clark Parkway, either direction, pulling anyone over for any infraction. Tickets start at $171 so expensive.
A police car will sit facing traffic, in the culligan water parking lot, using his
radar to catch the unwary, thinking that once they have passed the first trap
that theres no need to slow down, and most do not.. this trap is about 1/2
mile farther down theBrown station road from the one already listed as a trap..
Usually there in the morning during rush hour..
Area of I-65 when going south speed limit ghanges from 70 to 55.
Going north, starts at river, and continues thru mile marker #9
Troopers sit on overpasses and shoot when you pass also sit on side by ramps
Marked and Unmarked Clarksville Police cruisers like to sit where the old Drive-in movie theater used to be. The speed limit is 45, but is hardly obeyed. They are most likely to pull you over during the morning and evening rush hours. Just for reference, Brown’s Station Way is the road that connects Clarksville with New Albany, and eventually meets up with I-65.
