N325 West between Lowell Road and highway 46
An officer of the law (typically sheriff) sits behinds trees along one of the straight sections of the and runs radar on vehicles going past.
US 31 at Columbus/Downtown Columbus split at overpass
Cops like to sit here a few days a week, usually at night and clock speed. Luckily it’s become more well known so not as many people get pulled over now. It’s actually worse for those coming north out of Columbus since they don’t see the cruiser until it’s too late and they are already accelerating as they go downhill on top of whatever speed they were already at.
SR 46 by Rockcreek elementary school
Officers (county and state) on this road several days a week. Setting your cruise at 58mph will get you a ticket for 73mph with a young female state trooper.
US 31 and 400 North
County Sheriff likes to sit in church parking lot on Northbound side of road and use radar gun to catch speeders, and you can’t see them until you’re right up on them.
US Highway 31 near Interstate 65
Highway 31 south of I65 into Columbus. I see people stopped almost daily. I think there must be county sheriffs that do nothing but patrol this road. Often multiple cars working this section. Speed limit is 55, but it is 4 land, low residential and not much traffic most of the time, so easy to let the speed creep up.
