Elkhart, Indiana Speed Traps

Two Very unmarked Mustangs. One Red, One Silver. No Lights, No antennas, Tinted windows. Jurisdiction is City Wide and Random. There are also several others including the Malibu already mentioned on here.

From Co. Rd. 4 to the Michigan Line, the cars travel at such a terribly high speed, I can’t believe there haven’t been more accidents. There is a narrowing of the lanes and all the cars going into Michigan try to get ahead of others and its really scary. If you try to turn off into a sub-division along there, you are putting your life in danger as the cars trying to turn left have to wait on traffic coming south and all the cars traveling north just zoom in and around and I’ve come so close to getting hit turning into Quail Ridge Drive and its getting worse all the time. I’ve been hoping there would be some police sitting in this areas and letting the speeders be aware, this has to stop. There are two sports cars that race quite often and it is not safe, someone is going to get killed.

They sit on Bearsley right after Greenleaf BLVD. in that empty lot by the trees.

On Sat. and Sun. there is an officer that usually sits in the First Fed. Bank parking lot, just north of the bypass on US 33, or S. Main St. I live across from there, and he is constantly pulling out after people. Speed limit is 40.
