Lloyd Expressway between 41 and Fulton

Lately this has been a constant morning ritual on the Lloyd Expressway. From Fulton all the way to 41 there are at least 2 sets of police force in each direction often a state tropper on a motorcycle and a sheriff each camped out with lasers that Will Not set off even the most expensive radar detector. Traffic flow is around 60mph in the morning rush especially and they will get you for going anything over 50. They are very rapid and you just don’t see them until it’s too late.

US Highway 41 South

Going South on US Hwy 41 by the Twin Bridges leading into Ky speed limit goes from 55 to 50 to 45 to 55 to 45 all within 1/2 mile and is strictly enforced. Going North troopers sometimes line up 8 at a time off the road on the Indiana side of the bridge. They take turns waiting for info on which car to pull over from trooper on South side that is using radar.

Officer came from site unknown near bridge from KN to IN where no warning to reduce speed is posted but speed limit drops from 65 in KY to 50/40 in IN.

Lynch Road near Interstate 164

Portion of Lynch Rd from I-164 interchange west to Oak Hill Road. Sheriff Dept. parks along shoulder with lights turned off in area with no ambient lighting. Evansville PD sits at intersection of Lynch and Oak Hill Rds.

Covert Avenue near Vann Avenue

Police sit on the side roads throughout Covert Ave. between Hwy 41. and Greenriver Rd. Speed limit is set at 35, but there is residential and school zones. They pull over anyone, for any violation, including throwing cigarettes out the window.
