Francisco, Indiana Speed Traps
Francisco: West end of town at car wash.
State Police and town Marshal like to set on East side of car wash by creek and rail road tracks (bushy area) so that the car wash hides all but the nose of their car from East bound traffic and foliage hides them from West bound traffic.
East side of town
On State Road 64 just East of Francisco in Gibson County, speed limit changes drastically and posted signs are rather confusing.
Town Marshal like’s to set in school parking lot where he can see the straight stretch of Highway (not noticeable) coming off a small hill where the limit changes from to 55 to 35 to 25 for the school zone within 200 feet , school zone sign has a blinking light but is always on day or night .
Large truck’s are usually somewhat exempt (if you drive for the right company).
