Highland, Indiana Speed Traps

People blow the stop 4-way stop signs on Prairie & Ramblewood Police park near Whispering Oaks Court and get many many violators People use Prairie to cut thru to Main while coming from the Meijers!! Not there everyday, but sit there for hours when they do usually around 5-6pm

Highland Cops will sit in the parking lot at Sharp Complex tucked behind Plaza Lanes building to stay out of sight, so when coming northbound or southbound make sure you slow down. I believe the speed limit over there is 35 mph.

Police sit in funeral home parking lot on either Kleinman road side or Wirth road side. They watch the 4 way stop as well as speed of cars.

Police hide in Wicker Park side entrance at the bottom of the hill.

early AM hours when you go to work you may see a cop sitting on kleinman by the curb. speed limit is 25 and most people go 40 to 45mph. weeks ago i saw a car that rolled into someones front yard, so they might be watching speeding more now.
