Rossville, Indiana Speed Traps

Rule of thumb is, never speed in Rossville. A frequent trick, especially at night, is local town police will park along SR 26 on the street among other cars, and clock you as you drive by. The police vehicles are very difficult to distinguish at night, as they look like any other resident’s parked car.

Local Rossville cop. I received one for 32 in a 30 several months ago. A friend got one last week for the same amount. I successfully fought mine. Radar was set up so the speed was clocked just before zone went from 40 to 30. I drive through twice a day at various times. More than 50% of the time someone is pulled over. Worse at night.
