Shipshewana, Indiana Speed Traps

Word on the street is Shipshewana Police have zero tolorance. Middlebury road speed limit has been lowered to 40 mph and goes back to 50 mph at the county line. I also learned this the hard way 58 in a 40 in the country.

Town and County police use a driveway of a resident in the area. They have even been known to stand behind trees with handheld radars. This area is in the counrty side and i have seen up to three cars at a time stopped in the area.
