Decorah, Iowa Speed Traps

I had just begun my trip in my old Cavalier… no cruise, underpowered, etc. There’s a long road leaving town to the West. I was distracted by some gal was riding my tail so close I could almost see the color of her eyes as I puttered to the top of the hill. I hadn’t compensated for my speed as I had gotten up to about 60. Right at the crest of the hill I met the Highway Patrol. I didn’t have my seat-belt on but quickly snapped it. Both our cars pulled over and the HP let the other car go. I was sighted for no seat belt. He must have had a good, fast camera. I am from out of state and it made me so mad I have taken extreme measures to make sure I don’t spend a dime in Iowa ever since.
