Independence, Iowa Speed Traps

Police park in doctor’s office parking lot behind some low bushes in front after doctor’s office closes for the day and watch for speeders. It’s a very busy street. I am able to observe this from my front window, as I live next door to the doctor’s office.

Police wait in the dark with all their lights off trying to catch somebody going over 25 m.p.h. it’s a light comm. area, hardy anything on it. the speed limit should be 30 or 35 mph. If they want to slow down traffic, set out in the open and people will slow down without gettin a fine.
