Manchester, Iowa Speed Traps

East bound traffic entering Manchester from the west on Main St. As you pass the hospital and head down the hill/bridge the speed limit changes from 35 to 25 immediately at the bottom of the hill. There are a lot of distractions as you transition to the slower speed limit. The officers will be 1/2 block ahead either side of the road.

Officers sit in used car or any business in that location with lights off facing the traffic coming from the west headed east. They are using a hand held gun so they watch both directions. This is a low traffic area so the traffic starts speeding up from a 35 MPH to a 45 MPH which 45 zone doesn’t start till quite a ways out of town.
