Norwalk, Iowa Speed Traps

There are two places Norwalk PD will set up. If travelling northbound out of Norwalk toward Des Moines the cop car will be positioned on the median facing south and clocking people as they come around the curve. They also will set up shop in the Lakewood Association office parking lot just south of the creek going into Norwalk. They clock drivers going southbound around the curve when the speed limit changes going into town.

It is a 55mph zone and it decreases to 45mph. Officers sit near County Line Road and run radar. I have been stopped and could not say enough good about the courtesy I received. Go Norwalk Police!
