Fort Leavenworth, Kansas Speed Traps

One way street with few parked cars during daytime with 10 MPH speed limit. Too easy to go a few MPH over. Speed limit signs are not properly placed and undersized. Too many MP’s on Fort and not enough for them to do. Fine is $85 (can be mailed in) and if you go to court it is FEDERAL court.

30 MPH till you get to Reynolds ave, Speed drops to 20 MPH. 20 MPH sign is next to the buttons pedestrians push to activate crosswalk light. Sign is undersized and too low on pole to be seen if someone is standing waiting for crosswalk light to be activated.
