Gardner, Kansas Speed Traps

I work near Gardner and have noticed regular stops in this stretch (luckily never me). Speed limit is reasonable if not a little low, but enforcement is crazy. Each week I travel this stretch 10 times and I see: (1) at least 4 ‘public safety’ cars waiting for a catch and (2) at least 1 stopped motorist.

I was traveling on a nice sunny day in my blue 2002 Pontiac Sunfire near Gardner, Kansas traveling about 82 m.p.h in a 70 m.p.h zone. There was a State Trooper hiding in the ditch and did not budge when I went by at this speed. I approach Gardner and a city cop throws the lights on me and flips around and follows me for a couple of miles. I did not get no ticket but was wandering when do they start pulling over on I-35 in Kansas.
