Police set on the east side of Broadway back against fence catching speeders coming into town from the south. This would be on the 2 lane just as it turns 4 lane and also in the VFW lot just one block south of that.
Seneca/Grand on way into town from North (63rd St.)
As you’re coming into Haysville from the North, and as you cross over the ditch bridge, the Haysville Police sit in either Doug’s Auto or the Hardware store parking lot facing north running radar.
71st Street near Meridan Avenue
Going either direction west or east on 71st street, the speeds change quickly. Going east on 71st, the speed is 55 then it drops to 45, and very quickly it drops to 35. The police like to sit in the entry way of the new school right where the speed limit changes. At night they sit there with their lights off. I have gotten a ticket for $90.00 there and so has my mother.
