Hoxie, Kansas Speed Traps

Hoxie is a small, rural community. When traveling through downtown the posted speed limits must be followed, or the local gentry will pull you over. Heading south out of town, i.e., 19 miles to Interstate 70, is the worst part of the ‘trap.’ Town constables like ‘to hide’ in adjacent parking lots and nail drivers for increasing their ‘out-of-town’ speed too quickly.
