This trap is operated by the Johnson County Sheriff Dept. One officer will sit/stand in plain view in the middle of the overpass targeting Eastbound K10 traffic. Officer has sometimes been located in unmarked vehicle on overpass shooting through an open window. Will radio car details to officers waiting on entrance ramp on other side of bridge who will typically wait until they have crested the hill at the Corliss Rd overpass before pulling you over. This trap is run about once a month on no particular day of the week. Easy to identify from a distance as there are usually never any cars or people standing on this bridge.

Nall Street near 103rd Street

If heading Northbound on Nall, you will go over I-435 and then head down a large hill with a bridge. The cops sit on the righ side of the road and can hit you with radar as soon as you come over the bridge. You will not see the cop until it is too late and with the hill, it is very common to speed.

State Highway 10 near State Route 7

White GM pickup truck sits in median with officer in it holding speed gun thing which lights my detector and rings the bells! He radios to the interchange where 4-8 officers are sitting in a line on motorcyles and/or patrol cars and an SUV. They then pursue you or a group of faster cars stopping them on the east side of the K7 overpass of K10 jsut east of the Honeywell building. This trap is in effect typically every 4-10 weeks depending on weather. Watch for the white pickup truck in the median or on the east bound side of the road. I think these are actually Olathe KS or county sherrif types. . IF everyone stays to the right thorugh there, this trap should eventualy shut down.
