State Highway 68
Police travel this, less than two mile, town in two or more cars where the highway is five lane, 45 MPH on west end and 25 MPH and 35 MPH in short sections. with a Four-way stop where road narrows to two lane. I was coming from the East, passed the four way stop a couple blocks, on a section by a large cemetery and nothing on the other side of the street when I toped a hump and the only other car was a policeman coming toward me. I looked at the Speed Limit Sign and it said 45 MPH. The Policeman said I was still in the 25 MPH. He had sat behind me over ten Minutes before I exited my pickup than he yelled for me to return to my vehical. Another Police car pulled in behind him. The other Police car than followed another pickup towing a boat into a business and turned on his red lights to give another ticket. When I told my daughter, who we had been visiting thirty miles East, she said her husband would get stopped twice a month when he had to commute to work through Louisburg. Once he got stopped for an out-of-date tag, it was the third of the month after expiration but Missouri has a thirty day grace period.

Exiting off of highway 69 headed into Louisburg Kansas the speed limit decrease fast and decreases several times. I was clocked at 43 in a 35 but did not get pulled over until the 30. The officers was very nice and told me that I was not the only one today. He added on the back of my ticket by the fines of Louisburgs "Diversion Program". He said if I call the number he wrote on the back of the ticket that with my good driving record that the ticket would reduced. He did add that this ticket that I just received was not cheap nor was the "diversion program".
