Robo cop sits on the north side and south side hiding behind trees. They use the money to finance the city treasury. If you’re in the city limits or close to them you better use your cruise control because if you’re 2 mph over you will get a ticket. Their kangaroo court is not cheap.

Tickets are the primary revenue for this small but growing town. WATCH YOUR SPEED!!!!

Also – some of the officers can be confrontational & jerks trying to get a reaction so they can ‘write’ more violations on a stop. (i.e. "well I was gonna give you a warning on the failure to stop at the sign but since you’re not cooperating with me I’m gonna write you for failure to stop & brake light out)

This PD is ruthless! That’s all they do is cruise or sit on Maize Rd. waiting for unsuspecting drivers to go 3+mph over the posted 40mph limit. They have been seen sitting at the Mercantile supply store (located on the south end of town) drive in the pre-dawn hours looking for commuters to cash-in on.They actually write you up for 3 mph over!
