Mclouth, Kansas Speed Traps

As you enter the small town of McLouth on highway 92 from the north the speed limit changes quickly from 55 to 30 to 20 within a block. The officer typically sits in an alley on the left (east) side of the highway right where the speed limit changes from 30 to 20. The 20 MPH speed limit is supposedly because you are entering downtown, but the road does not narrow and downtown McLouth is almost always empty of people, especially late at night.
