Towanda, Kansas Speed Traps

Depending on the time of day a sheriffs officer will sit on the dead end road at the curve by SW River Valley Rd or the parking lot of the country store just west of 6th street. School hours is the most popular. I drop off and pick up students there. I have yet to drive through town and not see a vehicle stopped. Unfortunately they seems to be preying on the high school students predominantly. Forget the $200.00 school zone infraction what does that do to their insurance rates? Sad.
