Erlanger, Kentucky Speed Traps

It is rare to drive these roads, and not see a cop sitting. mainly in Erlanger. Cops just sit anywhere, and everywhere alongside both roads, at all times. We live in Independence, and we have to drive around Erlanger through Florence, to get to Cincinnati, when it would be shorter to drive through Erlanger, but we’d rather avoid the speed trap. It’s not really a speed trap, it’s more of a pull u over for anything suspicious trap.

Erlanger’s finest will sit anywhere there is a hidden spot since they now police the city of Crescent Springs too and although this appears to be a rural rd it is posted @ 35 mph (a joke). At nights they send some MADD driven cop out to drive right under your bumper hoping to see you weave so he can pull you over and start a DUI investigation. Don’t look back at this idiot and call 911 and ask for a supervisor!

I-275 and I-75 interchange. Police hide along the narrow median (dangerously) usually under the bridges. Speed limit goes from 65 to 55 than back to 65 for 2 miles on a 3 lane highway.

They stay hidden and pop out of nowhere and I don’t believe they ticket according to their proof. Every morning right after the Dixie Hwy and Stevenson Rd. intersection heading North there is always someone pulled over at the same time between 7-8 am.

A large cloverleaf interstate innterchange, lots of "hiding places" for the enforcers. Frequently the officers will position their vehicle north of the interchange on I-71/75, park against the center Jersey barrier and shoot radar from this position, aiming at north and southbound traffic. This intersection is posted at 55mph, however the speed changes from 65 to 55 just prior to this point on 71/75 northbound and I-275 eastbound. BEWARE
