Pewee Valley, Kentucky Speed Traps

Old Floydburg is 25 mph and the road is an incline. Driving West it’s nearly impossible not to speed if you aren’t riding the brakes. Officers routinely monitor Old Floydsburg and/or Ash ave and will ticket.

Note that there are frequently drivers who are truly speeding both on Ash Ave and Old Floydsburg as well, so the presence of patrol is for good reason.

The speed limit dropped to 15 mph on this road a year ago and the Pewee Valley police station is also on the road. He sits in his police SUV and cites anyone going over 15 mph…even 3 or 4 above it. He does not give warnings. Huge speed trap to help town economy. My advice…don’t even drive on this road. It is difficult for any car to go 15 mph without sitting on the brake the entire time.
