West Liberty, Kentucky Speed Traps

Police Park Behind Resturant at the bottom of hill, US 460 East that goes over to Index below prison. Speed goes from 35mph to 55 as the road widens, after crossing the river, folks accelerate too soon to climb the steep hill and they hit the radar even after the 55 sign if they think you were too fast, ticketed. Violation of state police to hide cruiser? Same thing on the north side of town.

As you approach the north city limits on KY 7, you will descend a moderate grade where the speed limit is 55 mph. At the base of the grade, you transition from a wide, recently constructed road to a narrow city street, with the speed limit dropping to 35 mph. City police like to lie in wait at the car wash just inside the city limits on the left-hand side. Watch your speed as you come off the hill!
