Wilmore, Kentucky Speed Traps

Heading West on Jessamine Station Road, approaching Wilmore (from Nicholasville), the Speed Limit signs quickly go from 55 mph to 45 mph to 35 mph to 25 mph. It’s already 25 mph by the time you go over the bridge and down the hill toward N Lexington Ave. It is absolutely impossible to keep within the speed limit without serious use of your brakes. A Wilmore Police Car is sometimes parked in the gravel lot on the left at the bottom of the hill. I got pulled over once for going between 45 and 55 mph. I’ve never made that mistake again.
