Belle Chase, Louisiana Speed Traps

This trap area is operated by Placaqumins Parish Sherriffs Office. The entire area of Engineers road is a speed trap. The speed limit is 35 mph. The road is newly paved and has many business related to oilfield workers. The trap is so densly operated that sometimes 2-3 radar cars work the road. Radar detectors are a must traveling this road, and use your speed control. The local business owners call it "Cash Highway"
