Grayson, Louisiana Speed Traps

speed limit is 65 mph as you enter town, then drops to 45 mph and a black and white ford city cop is waiting. I explain I was on the slow down after releasing the cruise control. The cop got me immediately at the 45 mph sign at 62mph. The only way to keep from getting a ticket would have been to slam on my brakes at the speed reduction

2 cops, 2 cars, one of which is black and white Crown Vic, the other a dark gray unmarked Charger,1 traffic light, US 165 is under construction as of this writing, no speed limit signs. Most enforcement is on 165 at night. The unfinished part of the road near the school is quite dark, and is a favorite hiding spot. Daytime isn’t as bad, but still use caution.
