Killian, Louisiana Speed Traps
La 22, Tickfaw River Bridge / to the sharp curve
The local cops are seriously out for money. The tickets or over priced at almost 300 dollars for small infractions. This little town just opened it court house in the last few years and it is trying to make as much money as possible. The locals have stated that the cops are known for adding speed to get larger fines. They normally sit right around the bridge because they know that gravity will add speed coming off the bridge. They also hide in the sharp curve just about a two miles before the bridge.
Leaving Killian on HWY 444 heading towards Baton Rouge
They sit under a tree on private property right on the border.

Coming down off the bridge towards Killian there is usually always a police car radaring towards the bridge. The police are as nice as can be but, hand out tickets pretty often.
