Mandeville Police hide behind the cultivated median island of shrubs to ticket cars entering Meadowbrook and Pelican Athletic club. This is outside of their jurisdiction, but no one at City Hall seems to care.

Police monitor speed along this street at least twice a month. Police also sit at stop signs to make sure cars come to a complete stop at least twice a month.
When turning off of Hyw 59 onto Viola, speed drops from 45mph to 25 mph.
I got a ticket for doing 31mph. Be carefull!
State Highway Hwy 190 near State Highway Hwy 22
At the overpass on Highway 190 going over Highway 22, police car often sits in the median just as you are coming off the overpass, facing southbound traffic.
Laker Ponchatrain Causeway Crossing
Sometimes during the day (not rush hour), a policeman will be out of his car (he has been dropped off) – and standing on the walkway to one of the small power generator buildings that are located (periodically) to the right side of the southbound span. Other units will be waiting at the next crossover in their cars.
State Highway Causeway Blvd. near Fairway Drive
Causeway Blvd. heading south (toward the Causeway Bridge) on the downside of the Fairway Drive overpass, LA. State Police regularly use radar detectors to nab speeders, usually in the mornings during the week, from about 10:00 am to about 12:00 noon. Today i saw they had 3 people pulled over.
